This facility achieved a "Remedy Construction Complete" determination on June 28, 1994. Wastes managed in the on-site surface impoundment were removed and disposed of off site, and the impoundment was capped. A pump and treat system was installed to capture contaminated groundwater associated with the impoundment. Multiple land use restrictions were recorded at the site.
Cleanup Actions or environmental indicators characterizing the entire facility are shown below. This listing, and all the data on this page, come from EPA’s RCRAInfo and are refreshed nightly to this page. For this table, a blank in the Status column could mean the action either has not occurred or has not been reported in RCRAInfo.

This approximately 83 acre facility is located in a mainly residential area of Standish, ME. According to the US Geological Survey's National Hydrography Dataset, this facility is located in the Presumpscot River watershed and the nearest fresh surface water body is located on or immediately adjacent to the property. Geology in this area has been observed to be dominated by slate and schist formations.
Institutional and Engineering Controls help ensure human exposure and groundwater migration are under control at a cleanup facility. Where control types have been reported by states and EPA in EPA’s RCRAInfo, they are shown below. Not all control types are needed at all facilities, and some facilities do not require any controls. Where there are blanks, the control types may not be needed, may not be in place, or may not be reported in RCRAInfo.
