Cleanup Status
There is no contamination in soil or groundwater at the facility. No further actions are necessary at the facility. EPA's Final Decision of Corrective Action Complete without controls for the facility became effective June 11, 2009.
Site Description
The subject facility consists of an undeveloped 53-acre of land. C and M was a licensed transporter of liquid, semi-solid, and solid waste materials. C and M collected wastes from various generators and transported them to incinerator and/or landfill facilities.
Information submitted by the facility to Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) does not indicate that any hazardous waste was stored on the property. In 1983, the facility notified PADEP that they would not be using the property for storage or transfer of waste as originally planned. PADEP site visits since 1983 have found that the property has remained undeveloped.

Site observations and available information do not indicate or suggest that there have been any releases of hazardous waste or hazardous material at the facility.

Institutional Controls were not required at the site.

Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Corrective Action activities at this facility have been conducted under the direction of EPA Region 3.
