Cleanup Status

The subject facility consists of an undeveloped 53-acre of land. C and M was a licensed transporter of liquid, semi-solid, and solid waste materials. C and M collected wastes from various generators and transported them to incinerator and/or landfill facilities.

Information submitted by the facility to Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) does not indicate that any hazardous waste was stored on the property. In 1983, the facility notified PADEP that they would not be using the property for storage or transfer of waste as originally planned. PADEP site visits since 1983 have found that the property has remained undeveloped.
