Beaver Paint began manufacturing industrial paint coatings in 1966.  Operations ceased at the Girard plant in 2002 and the liquid paint operations moved to Jamestown, Pennsylvania.  Jamestown Powder Coatings was purchased in 2002 and moved to the Girard location in November 2005.  These new operations do not generate any hazardous waste.

During the time Beaver Paint was in operation, they generated solvent and ignitable wastes and wastewaters.  These wastes and wastewaters were sent off-site for treatment.  No spills were reported during this time
