Clean Harbors Recycling Services of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois: Permit Documents for Hazardous Waste Management

In December 2015, EPA issued the federal portion of a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) permit in connection with the hazardous waste storage activities at Clean Harbors Recycling Services of Chicago located in Chicago, Illinois (RCRA identification number ILD 005 450 697). Specifically, this permit addresses certain restrictions and prohibitions on land disposal of hazardous wastes; other Federal RCRA regulations for which the state has not yet been authorized; and air emission standards for tanks and containers. The RCRA permit consists of both this permit, which contains the effective federal RCRA permit conditions, and the effective state RCRA permit conditions issued by the state of Illinois's RCRA program authorized under title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 271.
