Federal Cartridge Company in Anoka, Minnesota: Permit Documents for Hazardous Waste Management

In May 2008, EPA drafted the federal portion of a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) permit in connection with the hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal activities at the Federal Cartridge Company facility located in Anoka, Minnesota (RCRA identification number MND 006 156 590). Specifically, this permit addresses (1) certain restrictions and prohibitions on land disposal of hazardous wastes, (2) other Federal RCRA regulations for which the state has not yet been authorized, and (3) air emissions standards for containers. The draft permit was open for public comment from May 30, 2008 to July 14, 2008. The U.S. EPA shall issue a final permit decision after the close of the public comment period. Below are the U.S. EPA documents pertaining to this permit and the Minnesota draft permit can be accessed here.
