Federal Register Notice: Interim Final Standards for Owners and Operators of Hazardous Waste Management Facilities

With this notice, EPA amended its hazardous waste management regulations to enable certain facilities located in States with final authorization to obtain a federally issued Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) permit before the State's authorization of new standards. EPA clarified the applicability of new permit standards in States with Phase II interim authorization.
