This document announced Office of Management and Budget (OMB) clearance and effectiveness of reporting and recordkeeping requirements contained in EPA rules on liability requirements for owners and operators of hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal facilities. This rule provided notice to the public that the effective date for the information collection requirements for financial responsibility for liability coverage under title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations in parts 264 and 265 (volume 47 of the Federal Register pages 16554-16561, April 16, 1982) was July 15, 1982. The rule amended the requirements by adding the OMB clearance number to the applicable paragraphs.
