The purpose of this Model Permit is to assist permit writers in preparing Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) hazardous waste management permits for facilities with open burning and/or open detonation units subject to the provisions of 40 CFR 264 Subpart X, "Miscellaneous Units."
