    The selected remedy for the John Deere Ottumwa Works (JDOW) site included three components: deed restrictions; continued maintenance of the site perimeter fence; and groundwater and surface water monitoring. On August 28, 1992, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved a Preliminary Closeout Report (PCOR) for the site. The PCOR included a waiver for the pre-final' site inspection required by the Consent Decree (CD).
