This document summarizes the project - Energy Cost and IAQ Performance of Ventilation Systems and Controls which represents a substantial modeling effort whose purpose is to assess the compatibilities and trade-offs between energy, indoor air quality, and thermal comfort objectives in the design and operation of HVAC systems in commercial buildings, and to shed light on potential strategies which can simultaneously achieve superior performance on each objective.
