Indoor airPLUS

How can Indoor airPLUS help to promote our services?

Consumers are increasingly aware and concerned about indoor air quality. EPA estimates almost one in five American households have at least one person with asthma. And many homebuyers have experienced hot and cold spots, unwanted odors, and other signs of potential indoor air quality problems where they live. Builders who can help buyers meet this important need may have a significant advantage, especially in a buyers' market. But, demonstrating improved indoor air quality is difficult for builders. Indoor airPLUS can help Home Energy Raters create a credible value proposition for builder clients around indoor air quality and help ensure that their homes address this important issue. Raters can use Indoor airPLUS logos and materials to educate and train builder clients, advertise their partnership in the program, and generate additional revenues for verification, training, and consulting services.
