Indoor airPLUS

What's the difference between Indoor Air Package and Indoor airPLUS?

Before the Indoor airPLUS program was launched, EPA ran a pilot program from 2005-2008 that was referred to as the "ENERGY STAR Indoor Air Package". EPA evaluated feedback received from stakeholders during the pilot program and finalized the Indoor airPLUS Construction Specifications now in use. Homes qualified under the pilot program are automatically grandfathered into the Indoor airPLUS program.
