Inert Reassessment Document for Alkyl Sulfates

Alkyl sulfates are widely used as detergents in cleaning products and shampoos; emulsifying agents in creams and lotions; and wetting agents. As inert ingredients, alkly sulfates are used as surfactants or adjuvants of surfactants in pesticide formulations.
