Inert Reassessment Document for n-Hexyl Alcohol - CAS No. 111-27-3

Commercially, n-Hexyl alcohol is used as a solvent and in the manufacture of perfume, antiseptics, and plasticizers. In addition, it is used as a flavor volatile in food and is approved as a U.S. Food and Drug Administration Direct Food Additive under 21 CFR 172.515.
