Inert Reassessment Document for Valeric Acid, normal - CAS No. 109-52-4

Valeric acid is used as a stenching agent or odorant, with a limit of not more than 2% in pesticide formulations. Valeric acid is also used as an intermediate in the manufacture of flavors and perfumes, ester type lubricants, plasticizers and vinyl stabilizers.
