Mossville May 3, 2011, Site Inspection Report

The purpose of the site investigation at the Mossville site located in Sulphur and Westlake, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, was to collect information concerning conditions at the Mossville site sufficient to assess the threat posed to human health and the environment and to determine the need for additional investigation under Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA) or other authority, and, if appropriate, support site evaluation using the Hazard Ranking System (HRS) for proposal to the National Priorities List (NPL).
