EPA’s Technical Support Centers for Contaminated Sites
EPA scientists provide general and site specific assistance to regional and state project managers responsible for assessing, cleaning up and releasing contaminated sites for reuse. Three technical support centers focus on site characterization and monitoring, engineering and ground water issues at contaminated sites. This technical support strengthens the research by evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of tools and technologies.
