What do you need to do to become a certified firm?

Answer: Firm certification is easy and straightforward – you need only submit a short application and fee to EPA. View the form and associated materials here. Certified firms will be able to advertise that they are certified by EPA under the Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Program, and will also be given rights to use EPA’s new “Lead-Safe Certified Firm” logo.

Remember, to fully comply with this regulation, some of your key employees may need to obtain individual certification (by taking a one-day certification course) in addition to your firm certification. Learn how to become a certified renovator
