More than 650 attendees and 80 exhibitors participated in the 16th Annual Conference and Project Expo, one of the most anticipated conferences of the year for the U.S. landfill gas (LFG) industry. This year’s event featured eight technical sessions focusing on new technologies, project case studies, and financing strategies, to name a few. Once again, the conference highlighted landfills in search of development as part of the Project Expo and included a ceremony to present the 2012 LMOP Partner and Project of the Year Awards. Seven projects and one partner organization were recognized for their excellence in innovation and creativity, success in promoting LFG energy, and significant achievement of environmental and economic benefits. The panels held at the conference and the speakers who presented are listed below.
