LMOP and EPA Region 9 co-hosted a landfill gas (LFG) energy workshop on May 16, 2011, in conjunction with the 40th Annual SWANA Western Regional Symposium in Seaside, California. The half-day workshop discussed trends in the LFG industry, reviewed financial considerations for LFG energy projects, highlighted unique LFG energy project case studies in California, and demonstrated some of the tools and resources available on the LMOP website.
