2022 Federal Environmental Symposium (FES) Planning Committee

Environmental Compliance Training

In light of the current national situation we are all facing today, the in person Federal Environmental Symposium has been postponed to March 29-31, 2022.

However, the FES Planning Committee would like to announce that we will be hosting a series of four virtual webinar training sessions (‘webinar sessions”) for Federal facilities and their supporting contractors in 2021. These webinar sessions will be offered quarterly, staring in January 2021 and are intended to help share best practices across the Federal government on important environmental issues!

Each webinar session will focus on a topic from last year’s symposium. The topics include: Environmental Compliance, Energy & Water Efficiency, Sustainability and Environmental Management Systems.  Please join us for these virtual sessions!

The Environmental Compliance - Ask the Inspector Workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (ET).

• Topics, using the Ask the Inspector Workshop format, to be covered are:
  • TSCA Lead-based Paint
  • RCRA Hazardous Waste
  • CWA NPDES
  • Clean Air Act
• The webinar is intended for Federal personnel and supporting contractors. 
• Complete the registration form by Monday, January 18th, 2020. 
• Sometime after your registration form has been received, a log-in URL to the session will be sent to you.
