Public Comment Period and Notice of Intent to Delete
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 7 announces the deletion of the Annapolis Lead Mine Superfund Site from the National Priorities List (NPL) and invites the public to comment on the site. The Notice of Deletion was published in the Federal Register (85 FR 41487) on July 10, 2020. The Docket Identification No. is EPA-HQ-SFUND-2004-0004 and is available online at www.regulations.gov.
Written and oral comments will be accepted during the 30-day public comment period, which begins July 10, 2020, and ends Aug. 10, 2020. The public may submit their comments to the contact person listed directly below or submit them directly to the online Docket prior to the close of the comment period.

EPA and the state of Missouri, through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, determined that all appropriate response actions under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) at the site have been completed.
