How do I install MySQL Server 5.7?

MOVES2014b is not compatible with the latest version of MySQL Server. To install MySQL Server 5.7, which is compatible with MOVES2014, go to the MySQL 5.7 Installer Exit page and download the "mysql-installer-community" file (the larger offline option). Do not download the smaller web option, which will install a newer version of MySQL Server that is not compatible with MOVES2014b. Execute the mysql-installer-community file and follow the onscreen prompts to install MySQL Server 5.7.

If you accidentally installed the newest version of MySQL Server while installing MOVES, the MOVES GUI will not be able to open, and will instead prompt you to enter database login credentials. If this happens, uninstall all products associated with latest version of MySQL (including the MySQL Installer). Next, install MySQL 5.7 using the larger offline MySQL installer, and then re-run the MOVES installer.
