Summary
In compliance with the provisions of the Clean Water Act, as amended, the Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians is authorized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 5, to discharge from the treatment facility operated by Bad River Utilities designated as the Birch Hill Stabilization Lagoon located at the Bad River Indian Reservation, Birch Hill, Ashland County, Wisconsin (NW ¼ of NE ¼ of Section 36, T47N, R2W), to Birch Hill Swamp, in accordance with effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, and other conditions.
