Summary
In compliance with the provisions of the Clean Water Act, as amended, the Forest County Potawatomi Community is authorized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 5, to discharge from a treatment facility operated by Potawatomi Utility Department, designated as the Crandon Recirculating Sand Filter/Stone Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant, located within the Forest County Potawatomi Indian Reservation, in Forest County, 2 miles east of Crandon Township, Wisconsin, (S.W.¼ of the Section 27, Township 36N, Range 13E), to a wetland on the Reservation, in accordance with effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, and other conditions.
