Lac Vieux Desert Wastewater Facility NPDES Permit

Summary

In compliance with the provisions of the Clean Water Act, as amended, the Lac Vieux Desert Utility Commission is authorized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 5, to discharge from a treatment facility designated as the Lac Vieux Desert Wastewater Facility, located within the boundaries of the Lac Vieux Desert Indian Reservation in Gogebic County, Watersmeet Township, Michigan (SE¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 22, Township 45N, Range 39W), to a wetland tributary to Bonifas Creek, in accordance with effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, and other conditions.
