Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) for Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community NPDES Permit in Minnesota

Summary

In compliance with the provisions ofthe Clean Water Act (CWA), as amended, (33 U.S.C. 1251 et. seq.), the Urbanized Area ofthe Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) is a regulated Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) community and is authorized through this permit by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 5, to discharge storm water from its MS4 within the SMSC Indian Reservation located in Prior Lake, Minnesota, to waters of the United States in accordance with the conditions and requirements set forth herein.
