Under National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit number MT0020559, the City of Polson is authorized to discharge from its wastewater treatment facility located in the NE1/4 of NE1/4 of Section 8, Township 22N, Range 20E, latitude 47.68650° N and longitude 114.17860° W, Lake County, Montana, to the Flathead River in accordance with discharge point(s), effluent limitations, monitoring requirements and other conditions set forth herein. Authorization for discharge is limited to those outfalls specifically listed in the permit.
