New Source Review (NSR) Permitting

New Source Review Laws & Statutes

Congress passes laws that govern the United States. To put those laws into effect, Congress authorizes certain government agencies, including EPA, to create and enforce regulations. The Clean Air Act is the law that requires New Source Review (NSR) permits.

  • Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) Permits are required by Part C of Title I.
