Electric Arc Furnace:

  • PM2.5 (filterable and condensable) emissions shall not exceed 0.0033 gr/dscf.
  • SO2 emissions shall not exceed 0.63 lb/ton as calculated on a weighted average basis for all heats over a rolling, 12-month period.
  • NOx emissions shall not exceed 0.50 lb/ton.
  • Pb emissions shall not exceed 0.000007 gr/dscf and 0.22 ton/yr.
  • CO emissions shall not exceed 3.5 lbs/ton and 2,100 tons/yr as a rolling, 12-month summation.
  • VOC emissions shall not exceed 0.20 lb/ton, and 120 tons/yr as a rolling, 12-month summation.
  • SO2 emissions shall not exceed 378.9 tons/yr as a rolling, 12-month summation.
  • NOx emissions shall not exceed 300 tons/yr as a rolling, 12-month summation.
  • Hg emissions shall not exceed 0.0000045 gr/dscf and 0.14 ton/yr.
  • PE/PM (filterable) emissions shall not exceed 0.0052 gr/dscf from the exhaust of the melt shop baghouse (No. EAFBH01).
  • Visible particulate emissions from the melt shop baghouse (No. EAFBH01) shall not exceed three (3) percent opacity as a six-minute average.
  • Visible particulate emissions of fugitive dust from the melt shop due to operation of the EAF shall not exceed six (6) percent opacity as a six-minute average.
  • Visible particulate emissions from the melt shop baghouse (No. EAFBH01) dust handling equipment shall not exceed ten (10) percent opacity as a six-minute average.
  • Visible particulate emissions of fugitive dust from the melt shop due to operation of the EAF shall not exceed six (6) percent opacity as a six-minute average.

Package Boiler:

  • Nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions shall not exceed 0.07 lb/MMBtu (as measured at the maximum firing condition).
  • Particulate emissions (PE) shall not exceed 0.53 lb/hr and 0.12 tpy.
  • Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions shall not exceed 0.037 lb/hr and 0.16 tpy.
  • Carbon monoxide (CO) emissions shall not exceed 0.04 lb/MMBtu (as measured at the maximum firing condition) and 11.4 tpy.
  • Volatile organic compounds (VOC) emissions shall not exceed 0.35 lb/hr and 1.52 tpy.
  • PE shall not exceed 0.020 lb/MMBtu of actual heat input.
  • Visible particulate emissions from the stack serving this emissions unit shall not exceed 20% opacity as a 6-minute average, except as provided by the rule.

Flux and Carbon Handling and Storage:

  • PM10 shall not exceed 0.08 lb/hr and 0.12 tpy.
  • PM2.5 shall not exceed 0.012 lb/hr and 0.02 tpy.
  • Visible particulate emissions from the stack serving this emissions unit shall not exceed 20% opacity as a 6-minute average, except as provided by the rule.
  • Visible emissions of fugitive dust from the material handling operations shall not exceed 20% opacity as a 3-minute average.

Roadways and Parking Areas:

  • PM10 emissions shall not exceed x tons/yr.

Roadways and Parking Areas:

  • In accordance with the permittee's permit application, the permittee has committed to treat the unpaved roadways and parking areas with water and/or any other suitable dust suppression chemicals and the paved roadways and parking areas with water and by sweeping, at sufficient treatment frequencies to ensure compliance.
