Primary Fuel:
  • Mainly Powder River Basin coal (low sulfur) with a blend of up to 70% by Btu of petroleum coke (pet coke). Also coal from Canada and other US regions, if desired.


  Secondary fuel:
  • 100% Illinois Basin coal (high sulfur content). On the basis of annual energy consumption, up to 20% by Btu biomass will be burned as supplementary fuel.

NOx:
  • 0.07 lb/MMBtu (30-day avge) during normal operation - excluding periods at SSM -  at loads greater than or equal to 70% load
  • 0.14 lb/MMBtu ( 30-day rolling avge)  during low load operation, loads less than 70% load but greater than 50%


SO2:
  • 0.06 lb/MMBtu (30-day avge) during normal operation, excluding periods at SSM at loads greater than or equal to 70% load
  • 0.05 lb/MMBtu as an annual avge during normal operation;
  • 0.08 lb/MMBtu (30-day  avge) during low load operation, excluding periods at SSM at loads less than 70% load but greater than 50% load
  • 0.10 lb/MMBtu (3-hr rolling avge) during normal operation low load operation, excluding periods at SSM at loads less than 70% load but greater than 50%

Filterable PM10: 0.010 lb/MMBtu

CO: 0.15 lb/MMBtu (30-day avg)

VOC: 0.0035 lb/MMBtu
