Beneficial Uses of Dredged Material Case Study: Poplar Island, Chesapeake Bay

A consortium of federal, state, and private organizations collaborated to restore a once rapidly eroding island in Chesapeake Bay by using material dredged from federal navigation channels serving the Port of Baltimore.
