These reports provide summaries of the scoping meetings as part of the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) process for the designation of dredged material disposal sites in Eastern Long Island Sound. The SEIS will supplement the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the designation of dredged material disposal sites in the Western and Central Long Island Sound, completed in 2004. The SEIS is prepared for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and supported by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. The study will be conducted in consultation with other federal and state agencies of New York State and Connecticut, as well as with consultation of the public.
