Notification: FY 2020 EPA's Compliance with the Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014

Project #OA&E-FY20-0033, May 5, 2020

The OIG’s objective is to conduct an independent evaluation of the EPA’s compliance with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Fiscal Year 2020 Inspector General FISMA Reporting Metrics.  The OIG plans to begin fieldwork on our evaluation of the EPA's compliance with the Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014.  The OIG also plans to evaluate elements of the EPA’s information security program to determine whether the Agency is able to obtain and generate relevant and quality information to make risk-based decisions to secure the Agency’s network during the COVID-19 pandemic.
