The intention of this report is to identify best practices and resources for effective community engagement regarding air toxics and environmental justice in Oregon.
Most of the information and resources identified in this report were presented at an environmental justice and air toxics workshop held on March 15, 2017 in Portland, Oregon. The workshop’s goals were to build relationships among community members and federal, state and local agencies, and to develop a shared understanding of regional air quality issues and impacts to communities with environmental justice concerns.
