Scientific Integrity Committee Charter

EPA’s Scientific Integrity Policy (The Policy) established a Scientific Integrity Committee (The Committee), chaired by the Scientific Integrity Official. The Committee consists of senior program, office, and regional officials who are designated Deputy Scientific Integrity Officials. The Committee provides leadership for the Agency on Scientific Integrity, jointly assists in the implementation of the Policy, and promotes Agency compliance with the Policy. The Charter describes the responsibilities and priorities of the Committee and of its individual members in upholding the tenets of EPA’s Scientific Integrity Policy by promoting scientific and ethical standards throughout the Agency.
