During fiscal years 2020-2021, EPA awarded 42 Pollution Prevention (P2) grants totaling $9.35 million to support pollution prevention (P2) activities across all environmental media – air, water, and land. Award recipients represent state agencies, federally-recognized tribes and colleges and universities that are instrumentalities of a state.
The award summaries include the grant recipient's name, the federal grant amount and a brief description of the project. Grant projects reflect a two-year funding period whereby projects will begin in October 2020 or soon thereafter and are due to complete in October 2022. Projects will focus on one or more of the P2 Program’s National Emphasis Areas – Food and Beverage Manufacturing and Processing; Chemical Manufacturing, Processing and Fabrication; Auto Manufacturing and Maintenance; Aerospace Product and Parts Manufacturing and Maintenance; or Metal Manufacturing and Fabrication. You may need a PDF reader to view some of the files on this page.
