Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)

Fact Sheets Summarizing Research on Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) in School Buildings

EPA conducted research to address several unresolved scientific questions that help to assess the magnitude of problems surrounding PCBs in school buildings, and to identify the best long-term solutions. The results of this research will be used to provide further guidance.

EPA developed three fact sheets summarizing these studies. One is an overview of the research, one is an Evaluation of the Encapsulation Method, and one is on Emissions from Selected Primary and Secondary Sources.
