Incremental Sampling Methodology (ISM) at PCB Cleanup Sites

This document has a brief description of ISM and provides EPA’s policy of reviewing and approving site-specific applications to use ISM at PCB cleanup sites under only Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) section 761.61(c), which provides for risk-based approval of alternate cleanup and disposal methods.
