This approval was granted to Kurion, Inc. in January 2017 for a mobile treatment unit that uses in-container vitrification to destroy PCBs as a thermal alternative PCBs disposal method. This approval was issued pursuant to Section 6(e)(1) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and the Federal PCB Regulations in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations in section 761.60(e).
