Public Notice for Waste Control Specialists

Waste Control Specialists (WCS), located at Andrews, Texas has applied to the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency for renewal of their Approval for Commercial Storage and Landfill Disposal of non-liquid Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) under Section 6(e)(1) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), 15 U.S.C. 2605(E) and 40 CFR §§ 761.65  and 761.75. The PCB regulatory program is not delegable to states and the management and enforcement of the program is currently under the exclusive authority of the EPA.

Persons wishing to comment on the EPA's decision to issue the proposed TSCA PCB Approval must submit comments by email to James Sales during the public comment period, beginning November 12, 2020 and ending December 31, 2020. The EPA will finalize its decision after review of and response to received comments.
