EPA Announces the October 28, 2019 FIFRA SAP Preparatory Virtual Meeting

EPA will hold a 3-hour preparatory virtual meeting of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act Scientific Advisory Panel (FIFRA SAP) on October 28, 2019 to consider and review the scope and clarity of the draft charge questions for the November 19-22, 2019 FIFRA SAP Meeting on the Approaches for Quantitative Use of Surface Water Monitoring Data in Pesticide Drinking Water Assessments. The preparatory virtual meeting will be held from approximately, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (EDT). This is an open public meeting that will be conducted via webcast using Adobe Connect and telephone. If you would like to provide oral comments during the preparatory virtual meeting you must register by October 24, 2019. Select “attend and make a comment” when registering. You may register as a listen-only attendee at any time up to the end of the meeting on October 28, 2019. Select “listen only (not making a comment)” when registering. Written comments for consideration during the preparatory virtual meeting should be submitted by October 24, 2019.

The FIFRA SAP serves as a primary scientific peer review mechanism of EPA’s Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention and is structured to provide scientific advice, information, and recommendations to the EPA Administrator on pesticides and pesticide-related issues as to the impact of regulatory actions on health and the environment.
