Implementation Guidance for Enhanced Reporting for Registrants of Pet Spot-on Products

Registrants of pet spot-on products can now use the successfully piloted enhanced reporting templates to report data on incidents and sales to the agency on an annual basis. Those registrants that choose to use the templates can request a change in the condition of their registration from a two-year term to a registration that is not time limited but requires annual reporting using the templates. This procedural change supports the objectives of pet spot-on mitigation by ensuring that consistent, high quality, and useful data are received in a timely fashion, while reducing regulatory burden. The following documents provide background and summary information on the pet spot-on enhanced reporting pilot and guidance for implementing the use of standardized incident reporting templates.
