Prospective Ad Hoc Participants and Preparatory Virtual Meeting for the December 4-7, 2018 FIFRA SAP Meeting

EPA is requesting comments on the list of experts under consideration for ad hoc participation on the December 4-7, 2018 FIFRA Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP). Written comments should be submitted to docket EPA-HQ-OPP-2018-0517 on www.regulations.gov by November 9, 2018. Read the Federal Register notice requesting comments. Additionally, EPA is announcing a two-hour preparatory virtual meeting from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (EST) on November 14, 2018, to consider and review the scope and clarity of the draft charge questions for the December 4-7, 2018 FIFRA SAP meeting. Requests to make oral comments during the November 14, 2018 preparatory virtual meeting should be submitted on or before November 9, 2018 by contacting the Designated Federal Official listed below. Comments should focus on the charge questions, and the peer review panel will consider those comments during their discussions. Registration is required to access the preparatory virtual meeting. You can register to listen only anytime up to the end of the meeting on November 14, 2018. The FIFRA SAP serves as a primary scientific peer review mechanism of the EPA’s Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention and is structured to provide scientific advice, information and recommendations to the EPA Administrator on pesticides and pesticide-related issues as to the impact of regulatory actions on health and the environment.
