This petition from 11 petitioners, dated April 26, 2017, asks that EPA amend or issue a formal re-interpretation of, the Treated Article Exemption, 40 C.F.R. §152.25(a), to clearly communicate that systemic pesticidal seeds intended to kill insect pests of the plants are not included under the Treated Article Exemption and are therefore subject to FIFRA’s requirements.
