Hazardous Waste Cleanup: Rolls-Royce Corporation Facility Public Comment form
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency prepared a Statement of Basis document to explain the proposed final remedy for contaminated soil and groundwater at the Rolls-Royce Corporation Facility in Indianapolis under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). EPA will select a final remedy for the facility after the public comment period has ended and any information provided by the public has been reviewed and considered. EPA may modify the proposed remedy or select another remedy based on new information or public comments. The remedy proposed by EPA will incorporate interim measures previously completed at the Rolls-Royce Facility to address source removal/control, as wells as existing institutional controls and new institutional controls. The remedy is described in more detail in the Statement of Basis available on the Facility website.
EPA is interested in your comments on the proposed cleanup plan. The comment period runs from November 16 through December 31, 2020. Send your comments to EPA Community Involvement Coordinator Ruth Muhtsun before midnight, December 31, 2020:
