Public Notice: Proposed RCRA permit, Heritage Thermal Services, Inc

Summary

EPA is providing a notice regarding the draft federal portion of a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) permit in connection with the hazardous waste management operations at Heritage Thermal Services, Inc. located in East Liverpool, Ohio (RCRA identification number OHD 980 613 541). Specifically, this permit addresses air emission standards, including monitoring and recordkeeping requirements, for equipment leaks, tanks, containers, and miscellaneous unit. The RCRA permit consists of both this permit, which contains the effective federal RCRA permit conditions, and the effective state RCRA permit conditions issued by the state of Ohio’s RCRA program on January 17, 2019 authorized under Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 271. EPA invites the public to provide comments on the draft federal permit from August 28 to October 16, 2020.
