This document shares the guidance developed by the Interagency Working Group formed by the Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This Working Group was formed on July 5, 1974 to develop guidance to reduce unnecessary radiation exposures from the use of x-rays in the healing arts in Federal health care facilities.
