Federal Guidance Report No. 8: Guidance for the Control of Radiation Hazards in Uranium Mining

This report supersedes the preliminary FRC staff Report No. 8 which was released on May 7, 1967, for discussion in the Joint Committee on Atomic Energy hearings on radiation exposure of uranium miners. It contains background material used in the development of guidance for Federal agencies in regulatory programs and in programs of cooperation with States concerning radiation protection in the mining of uranium ore and seeks to provide guidance for long-term radiation protection in uranium mining.
